Our intermediate enameling workshop will take you beyond simple enameling into a whole new world of color with transparent enamels. We will experiment with the possibilities of color and shading on flat and dimensional pieces. You will also be introduced to Scraffito, the art of removing dried enamels to reveal fired colors underneath before firing. We will also introduce Champleve on etched copper. You will be provided with etched pieces, but are welcome to bring your own etched metal (those who have taken the etching workshop can bring their own designs!) We will also be experimenting with the Thompson enameling pens to add lettering or fine drawing to your pieces. Experience needed: BEGINNING ENAMELING. Cost: $110.00
