Learn Beginning Champlevé Enameling. You will pierce and saw copper sheet and then sweat solder the layers together with a special high temperature solder, to give you a base for one example of champlevé. For your second piece, you will be provided with an etched copper de-sign. **FYI: You can learn to etch your own copper bases in our Etching Without Acid Class (not included in this class). You work with transparent and opaque enamels to make 2 simple champlevé pieces. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: BEGINNING ENAMELING AND BEGINNING METALWORKING (or ability to solder)
