2-day intensive focused on Shop Safety and basic jewelry skills of Sawing, Drilling, Filing, Riveting, Finishing, and Polishing. The tools used in class will be the jeweler’s saw, hand & needle files, the flex shaft with assorted bits & burs, brass slide gauge, dividers, assorted pliers, mandrels, hammers & mallets and polishing buffs. Students will practice sawing and make multiple samples of rivet connections. A brooch or pendant project will be completed. Cost: $200
