Pouncing Rain is restructuring how and when our Beginning and Intermediate Jewelry Making classes are held. The Beginning and Intermediate Jewelry Making classes will run 4 weeks instead of 6, making them easier for you to schedule the time and attend. The 4 week classes will run during each month to make them easier to keep track of. When you sign up for Beginning or Intermediate Class you will receive, in addition to the 4 classes where new skills are taught, 2 Instructed Studio sessions. During the month your class is taking place you can select which Instructed Studio sessions you want to use.
Beginning Jewelry will focus on the basic skills for the beginning student. Sawing,filing, cold connections and basic soldering will be covered in Beginning Jewelry. Additional training on the many uses of the flex shaft with all it’s bits and burs, really provide the students with skills they can use for many different projects. Making fun, modern jewelry projects with a focus on safety will help you to become comfortable in the metals studio. The class includes effective practice exercises so you can master each skill set. Creative design ideas make this introduction to jewelry a thoroughly enjoyable class. 4 week course: 3-hours, once a week PLUS 2 Instructed Studios During your course "month" . No experience needed.
