2-day Skill based workshop. Beginning jewelry skill level is a prerequisite. Students will learn prong setting, tube setting, and 2 basic rivet styles for faceted gemstone capture. Flex shaft and bur use will be stressed for precision stone setting. No finished jewelry items will be made. Completing the Cold Connections for Cabochon Stone Setting class is a plus but not necessary. Beginning metalsmithing experience required.

Expand your stone setting ability while you learn 4 basic rivet styles and 2 styles of tabs. Gain skills with the circle cutter, hydraulic press, brass slide gauge, dividers, and setting burs as you make pendants for cabochon gemstones. Beginning level classes are prerequisite.
