Kathleen Yorston started her art education early, when at 15 she attended Los Angeles City College commercial art program. As life happens, she did not pursue a career in the Arts but worked in the business world. Kathleen has worked as a long haul truck driver, an insurance agent, an officer for the District Attorney in California, and DSHS in Washington. She has owned her own commercial embroidery/promotional products company here in Bellingham. After buying Pouncing Rain from Judi two years ago, Kathleen now is able to combine her varied life and business experiences with her passion for jewelry making and design at Pouncing Rain Jewelry And Metal Working Center.
Kathleen is a Level Two PMC Instructor and loves to combine her metalworking with Precious Metal Clay.
